On Thursday, September 5, 2024, the eighth day of the international campaign for justice for the Tamils, the Cyclerally began at the Germany-Luxembourg border and reached Dillingen in Saarbrücken, Germany. The day started with a moment of silence in remembrance of the Tamil genocide victims, fueling the participants' resolve to keep pushing forward.
Since the rally's start on August 29, 2024, in Wallington Green, United Kingdom, it has consistently demanded an independent investigation into the Tamil genocide and the establishment of an independent Tamil Eelam. As the rally moved deeper into Germany, reaching Dillingen in the Saarbrücken region, it gained further momentum and visibility.
With the end goal in sight, the anticipation builds toward the final gathering on September 16, 2024, at the UN Secretariat, where the Tamil community’s call for justice and freedom will be powerfully voiced to the world.
