Thileepan Anna: A Symbol of Sacrifice

On September 26, 1987, Eelam Tamils witnessed a day of profound sorrow. Thileepan, a medical student at Jaffna University and member of the LTTE, chose to sacrifice his life through a hunger strike, demanding justice and fulfillment of promises made by India.

His unwavering stant highlighted the struggle for Tamil rights amidst a broken promise.
